History
South Central High School is an accredited public high school. It was created in 1983 and has since served the area providing quality alternative education for students ages 16-21.

Parent Information
The staff and administration at South Central would like to encourage and promote parental involvement with their students. Parents and guardians are requested to come with students when they enroll and assist in a successful transition to the school.
Parents are needed for permission to enroll if the student is under the age of 18. For those 18 and over, no parental permission is required although we would like to see the parents/guardians involved as appropriate.
Parents/guardians are invited to call the school when they have questions. We send progress notes out to parents when we work with 16 year olds, and we can send them out for other students if parents/guardians request it.
Parent/Teacher conferences are held twice per year; once in the fall and once in the spring. Watch the Bismarck Public School calendar for those dates along with information that will be sent out in advance of those dates.
